2020 Mission Planned

Updated: Jun 1, 2020

Next medical mission planned for the 2020 Opening of Hope Center.

Children waiting for care during the 2018 mission.

In 2019, the practical decision was made to suspend the annual AIHWA medical mission in Africa. Using borrowed hospitals and facilities has proven to be expensive and not ideal for patients or our medical volunteers. Instead, AIHWA has chosen to focus its resources on building Hope Center — a integrated care facility in Owerri, IMO State, Nigeria.

Hope Center solves the urgent need of a safe and stable place for both our patients and the international healthcare personnel who go to Nigeria to provide medical services.

With the land purchase complete, AIHWA is on the way to making Hope Center a reality.

...but we still need your help.

Any, and every donation gets us closer to realizing the dream of safe, integrated healthcare in Africa. Make your donation today!
